The Los Robles golf staff provided excellent service and perfect weather for the fourth Mini-Tour event of the year in Thousand Oaks. The couse was in excellent condition and low scores were ripe for the picking.

A big THANK YOU to our VOLUNTEERS that make tournaments successful and fun: Gary Klahn, Dominic Stelluto, Riley Michaelis, Mike Michaelis, Bernard Gross, Hubert Millett, Nancy Wipf & Brett Silvernail.

GIRLS 10 & 11

Divya Manthena of Simi Valley continues her fine play winning her fourth straight gold medal shooting a solid 40 for nine holes. Also showing signs of improvement was Kristin Diep of Oxnard finishing second.

BOYS 10 & 11

Elias Gross of Calabasas won his second tournament with some very solid play putting together a six hole stretch of 3's and 4's highlighted by a birdie on the fourth. His two over 36 earned him the gold medal! Finishing in second place for the second straight week was Brandon Pita of Santa Maria shooting a fine 39. In a tie for third was Spencer Soosman and rookie, Thomas Weaver both from Westlake Village shooting 41's.

BOYS & GIRLS 8 & 9

Matthew Mangawang of Newbury Park put together a string of 4's on the final three holes to take home the gold medal. In second was rookie Eric Triplett of Westlake Village and the silver medal went to Ryan VanCamp of Ventura.

Q-SCHOOL (3 Points earns VCJGA Tour Status)

Five players set out today to gain status on the VCJGA Tour trying to match or better a target score of 47 or better. Earning one point each: Brian Wipf, Ventura (40), Aaron Wipf, Ventura (43) and Gianni Pink, Calabasas (46).
