Many THANKS to the staff of Rustic Canyon: Buddy Kalencki, PGA, Brett Paris! The golf course played very difficult with warm temperatures, wind gusts and firm, fast conditions. As usual, the approaches and greens show our junior golfers just how much they need to practice their short game.

A big THANK YOU to our VOLUNTEERS that make tournaments successful and fun: Brett Silvernail, Dana Kwan, Roger Rice, Ying Chen, Bernard Gross, Maurine Martin, Nick Bublitz & Derek Va.

GIRLS 10 & 11

The girls division play continually elevates as Rebecca Marder of Simi Valley makes it two-in-a-row! Kristin Diep of Oxnard finishes in second as she continues to pursue her first victory.

BOYS 10 & 11

Dominic Rector of Westlake Village took advantage of an opening in his baseball schedule to win the Rustic Canyon Classic by two strokes, shooting a solid 43. Tied for second with a pair of 45's was last weeks champion Brandon Pita of Santa Maria and points leader, Spencer Soosman of Westlake Village. Finishing with 47's in a tie for 4th place was Nick Bublitz of Newbury Park, Preston Smith and Thomas Weaver, both of Westlake Village.

BOYS & GIRLS 8 & 9

Ryan VanCamp of Ventura and Eric Triplett of Westlake Village had quite a battled on the difficult course this afternoon. Ryan came out on top winning the gold medal

Q-SCHOOL (3 Points earns VCJGA Tour Status)

Rustic Canyon won the battle today as six players set out to gain status on the VCJGA Tour trying to match or better a target score of 49 or better. Better luck next time.
