MAY 10, 2008 - Soule Park Golf Course

Many THANKS to Tyson York and the staff of Soule Park! The golf course was in great condition and temperatures were mild with gentle breezes.

A big THANK YOU to our VOLUNTEERS that make tournaments successful and fun: Sue Chong, Bernard Gross, Nick Bublitz, Paul Drogosch & Nancy Wipf for giving of their valuable time.

GIRLS 10 & 11

Kristin Diep of Oxnard completes her pursuit of victory by edging Rabecca Marder of Simi Valley by two strokes and earning her first gold medal.

BOYS 10 & 11

Nick Bublitz, III of of Newbury Park earned his first victory with some fine play on the difficult Soule Park layout. A birdie on the par 5 second hole fueled his solid play. In a tie for second were Brandon Pita of Santa Maria and Elias Gross of Calabasas. Finishing in fourth was Erin Alonzo of Santa Clarita.

BOYS & GIRLS 8 & 9

Grant Drogosch shot a 65 to claim first place and earn medalist honors.

Q-SCHOOL (3 Points earns VCJGA Tour Status)

Four players set out to gain status on the VCJGA Tour trying to match or better a target score of 49 or better. Gianni Pink of Calabasas gained his third and final point necessary to earn his VCJGA Tour status.

PLAYERS: DON'T FORGET TO THANK YOUR PARENTS FOR THEIR LOVE & SUPPORT... YOU COULDN'T DO IT WITHOUT THEM!
