SPRING SOULE PARK OPEN

Overcast turned to sun and warm temperatures followed as 69 golfers teed off in the beautiful Ojai valley.  Lush fairways and slower than normal green speeds, and gentile breezes encouraged aggresive play. 

Championship Boys (6,615 Yards - Par 36+35=71):  Alex Kang leads the field with a solid 66 fueled by 8 birdies. One stroke back was Andrew Perez shooting 67. Kyle Holden arrived late and with no time to warm-up eagled the 4^th and finished with 68 while Tanner Diaz also carded an eagle on the 13^th and a one-under 70.  Others included: Jordan Cuthbert and Chris Doyle 71, JJ Holen, Justin Edwards and Thomas Lim 72. Shooting 74’s were Ryan Sarmiento, Chase Patton, Brett Silvernail, Adam Carter and Taylor Levin

Championship Girls (6,100 Yard - Par 36+35=71):  First round leader Remy Molyneux shot an 81 on the long 6100 yard layout. Two stokes back is Shannon Holden shooting an 83.

Boys 12-14 (6,100 Yards - Par 36+35=71):  Setting the pace was Jonathan Sanders with a 76 followed by Dirk Guthrie with a 78, Brock Drogosch with a 79; and Alex Angard with an 80.
