Many thanks to Megan Young and PGA Professional Susan Olsen-Sipes for their kind hospitality throughout the day.  The weather was perfect and the course was in great condition.

Boys 10-11:    Last weeks champion made it two-in-a-row and earned the gold medal.  His one over par round of 36 included birdies at the first, sixth and ninth holes.  Finishing four strokes back and finishing second with a up and down round of 40 (+5) was Spencer Soosman.  His round included a birdie at the short but difficult fourth hole.    Elias Gross shot a respectable 42 (+7) which included a birdie at the sixth hole and finished in third place.  Matthew Mangawang, last weeks bronze medal winner shot a 43 (+8) and finished fourth.

Boys/Girls 8-9:  Seldon Doyle makes it two-in-a-row, making pars on the forth and sixth holes and finishing with a 43 (+8).  Grant Drogosch came out firing, making a par on the very difficult opening hole and earning the silver medal.  Finishing in third was rookie Vardaan Bal.

Q-School:  Thirteen players set out today trying to shoot a target score of 49 or better.  One player, Tyler Barnett, earned his second point in as many events shooting a 43.  Congratulations to Garrett Hutchison!  He shot a 46, earned his third point and is now a Q-School graduate.  Rookies Jackson Sullivan (48) and Daven Fujimoto (49) each earned their first point.  Players earning three points qualify to move-up and play on the VCJGA Tour.
