Simi Hills Golf Course, Simi Valley, CA - Par 35 (front-9)

Many thanks to Brian Reed, Jackie Cochran and their staff for their kind hospitality.  The weather was very nice with moderate temperatures and gentle winds.

Boys 10-11:    After a bogie on the first hole, Jack Biwer was on fire making two birdies and six pars; finishing with a one-under 34!  Tied for second and earning a silver medal was Mason Glinski and Matthew Mangawang.  In fourth place was rookie Sam Orue.

Boys/Girls 8-9:   William Draper made it two-in-a-row by shooting a solid 41.  Two strokes back with a 43 was Seldon Doyle.  Grant Drogosch finished third and Vardaan Bal finished fourth.

Girls 10-11:   Rookie Marni Murez earned the gold medal shooting a steady 44.  Finishing second was Sophia Mantano. 

Q-School:    Thirteen players set out today trying to shoot a target score of 48 or better.  Congratulations to Q-School Graduates Jackson Sullivan (43) and Daven Fujimoto (44) for earning their final points!  Others that earned a point today:  JJ Ferreira and Rocky Hall (45), Jack Orue and Billy Robi (46) and Brett Townsend (47).  Players earning three points qualify to move-up and play on the VCJGA Tour.
