Saticoy Regional Golf Course, Ventura, CA - Par 34

Many thanks to Don Matutina and his staff for their kind hospitality.  The weather was very nice with moderate temperatures and gentle winds.

Boys 10-11:    Jack Biwer fifth victory in six events with a score of 39 (+5) over the Saticoy Regional Golf Course today in breezy conditions.  Earning in a career high second place finish one stroke back was Preston Smith.  Finishing in a tie for third place was Matthew Mangawang and rookie Brandon Jacobs.

Boys/Girls 8-9:   Seldon Doyle made no predictions before teeing off, but had a quiet confidence about him.  He earned his fourth gold medal of the year shooting a solid 39 (+5).  Finishing is second was William Draper with a 42 (+7).  Earning the silver medal was Grant Drogosch.

Girls 10-11:   Sophia Montano earned her second gold medal of the year coming out on top of second place finisher Blaire Goldberg.

Q-School:    Twelve players set out today trying to shoot a target score of 46 or better.  Congratulations to JJ Ferreira (44) and Billy Robi (46) for earning their third and final point and VCJGA Tour privledges!  Rocky Hall (40) and Erin Alonzo (45), each earned their second point of the season.  Players earning three points qualify to move-up and play on the VCJGA Tour.
