VCJGA - Mini-Tour: Rustic TwiLight Classic

FINAL RESULTS

Rustic Canyon Golf Course, Moorpark, CA - Par 36

Many thanks to PGA Professional, Buddy Kalencki and his staff for their kind hospitality.  The weather was very nice with moderate temperatures.

Boys 10-11:    Jack Biwer sixth victory in seven events with an even par 36 over the demanding Rustic Canyon course.  Earning the silver medal in second place was Nick Bublitz.  Preston Smith finished alone in third.

Boys/Girls 8-9:   After 9-holes, Seldon Doyle and William Draper were tied with scores of 47.  Seldon Doyle earned his fifth gold medal of the year by winning the card-off with a 5 to second place finisher William Draper's 7.  Finishing is third was rookie Steen Zeman.

Girls 10-11:   Sophia Montano earned her third gold medal of the year.

Q-School:    Fourteen players set out today trying to shoot a target score of 48 or better.  Congratulations to Rocky Hall (48) for earning his third and final point and VCJGA Tour privledges!  Sam Morton (45) and Jamie Sullivan (46), each earned their first point of the season.  Players earning three points qualify to move-up and play on the VCJGA Tour.
