NOTE: Please enter before the entry deadline. Tournament Registration is guaranteed for all VCJGA Members before the deadline or until the maximum field size has been reached - whichever comes first. At that time, the VCJGA will also release any unfilled tee times to the golf course.

| 2. Check-In & Starting Times | Check-In: Each competitor is required to Check-In at least 30-minutes prior to their scheduled starting time. Tournament Rules and Instructions will be handed out at this time. Practice: Range balls are included and range tokens are distributed at Check-In. Starting Times: Each competitor is responsible to report to their starting hole a minimum of 5-minutes early. Click on Pairings in the Round/Course section to find your Starting Time. |
| 3. Spectators | Parents and spectators are extremely important to the VCJGA; however, it is at the sole discretion of the hosting golf facility as to whether parents and spectators are permitted on the golf course and whether or not to charge a fee. SPECTATOR RULES:
Please note that parents and spectators agree to let participants compete without giving any advice or counsel to them during the stipulated round (USGA Rule 8-1) knowing that a violation may cause a two-stroke penalty against their participant without warning. This includes any conversation between player/spectator in their native language. DO NOT PUT YOURSELF IN A POSITION/SITUATION THAT LOOKS SUSPICIOUS.
1. Spectators must register in the golf shop prior to entering the golf course grounds.
2. Do not speak with the competitors. You may cheer for them, hand them a snack or drink.
3. Spectators must remain on or closely near the cart path at all times (Stay off tees, fairways & greens). Remember to keep a proper distance from all players (50 yards is recommended). Spectators cannot walk with players during tournament play.
4. Spectators are not to give rulings on the Rules of Golf. You will be brought into a situation only if the Rules Official asks you.
5. Alcohol, swearing or abusive language will not be tolerated.
6. Cellular phones or beepers must be in VIBRATE mode while on the golf course. |
