FINAL RESULTS

Los Robles Greens Golf Course, Thousand Oaks - Par 34 (front-9)

Many thanks to Christina Ball and her staff for their kind hospitality throughout the day.  The weather was,cold with strong wind gusts (and darkness) which made the course play firm, fast and difficult.

Boys 10-11:    Several lead changes made for a difficult and interesting afternoon.  After three holes Spencer Soosman and Mathew Mangawang were tied at +1 and Jack Biwer was at +2.  After six holes, Jack was at +3 and Spencer & Matthew were at +4.  After seven holes, Spencer took the lead with a birdie and stood at +3 with Matthew and Jack at +4.  When it was all done, Spencer Soosman took home the gold medal with a 37 in tough scoring conditions.  Matthew Mangawang finished in second and Jack Biwer in third place.

Boys/Girls 8-9:   Seldon Doyle and Grant Drogosch also had a battle today.  Both turned in a solid score of 40 after a two shot swing on the final hole.  The Card-Off was in the favor of Seldon as his birdie on the final hole made the difference.  Seldon has won three-in-a-row and Grant finished second in all three!  Vardaan Bal finished in third.

Q-School:   Sixteen players set out today trying to shoot a target score of 49 or better.  Earning a point today were:  Danny Smooke (42), Daven Fujimoto (44), Jackson Sullivan (46), Brett Hollander (47), and with a 49 and earning his third and final point is Tyler Barnett.  Players earning three points qualify to move-up and play on the VCJGA Tour.
