Many thanks to Kyley and his staff for their kind hospitality.  The weather was humid and warm with cloudy skies and strong winds. 

Boys 10-11:   Brandon Jacobs shot the best round of the day, making six pars on his way to shooting 87 over the 18-hole layout and winning the gold medal.  In second place was Jason Dill shooting a steady 95.  In third was Preston Smith who struggled to a 101 on the day.  This is our second of two 18-hole Championships played in this division this season.

Boys/Girls 8-9:   Seldon Doyle shot a very solid 39 over the difficult front-9 to earn his ninth victory of 2009.  His round included four pars and a birdie.  William Draper finished in second with a 41 and Grant Drogosch shot 44 to finish in third.

Q-School:    Eight players set out today trying to shoot a target score of 47 or better.  TJ Gutierrez and Austin Aguilar each earned a point.  Players earning three points qualify to move-up and play on the VCJGA Tour.
