FINAL RESULTS

Los Robles Greens Golf Course, Thousand Oaks, CA - Par 34

Many thanks to Christine Ball and her staff for their kind hospitality.  The weather great with clear skies, cooler temperatures and breezes.

Boys 10-11:   Jack Biwer of Westlake Village earned his 11th victory of the year by shooting a steady 36 (+2).  Other than his opening birdie, he struggled on the opening holes, but was able to steady the ship.  Tied for second were Matthew Mangawang of Newbury Park and Matthew Wolff of Agoura Hills.  Each shot a solid round of 38 (+4).  Mangawang birdied the difficult par-3 sixth.  Finishing in fourth was Preston Smith of Westlake Village.

Boys/Girls 8-9:   Seldon Doyle of Thousand Oaks is moving... to the Boys 10-11 division after his 11th victory of the year.  He had the option to complete the year in the the Boys/Girls 8-9 division, but opted to move to begin gaining experience.  His 39 was good enough for a five stroke victory.  In second place for his second straight event was Austin Liu of Oak Park.  Finishing in third was Grant Drogosch of Westlake Village.  Grant got off to a difficult start, but hung in there and made an awesome birde two on the difficult par-3 sixth.

Q-School:    Thirteen hopeful players set out today trying to shoot a target score of 46 for boys (48 for girls) or better on a course that statistically has given up more points than any other.  CONGRATUALATIONS to Joshua Sudman, Tristan Gutierrez, Worthan Kwan and Colin Muir.  Each earned their final point necessary to graduate to the VCJGA Tour.

Players earning a point towards VCJGA Tour status include:  Jake Fander (1 of 3) and Sophia Montano (2 of 3).
